I'd like to get together, not only to share our experiences with parenting, but also to simply enjoy time with others. I know that life can be crazy right now, but I think a group like this has the potential to help all of us maintain just a little bit of sanity.
There are several book clubs out there but they either seem to be disbanding, specialized or for women only so I decided to start this one. I am the former organizer of a large book club in Nashville which, I'm proud to say, is still going strong and I hope to bring that same success to this one. This is a group for anyone who speaks some French and would like to discuss en francais a host of interesting topics from politics, to food, to theatre to philosophy. While we welcome all levels of French, it does help if you have a good basic knowledge of French so that you can participate in conversations.
